  YOUR WORKS BE REVEALED   John 9:1-3 (NKJV) Now as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth. 2 And His disciples asked Him, saying, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” Jesus answered, “ Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him .    Like the disciples, we too surreptitiously wondered if a person’s illness or handicap was the result of his or his ancestors’ sins?   In the above Scriptures, Jesus addresses the disciples’ question by simply saying, “No one sinned. But that God could reveal His works (working, power, glory) in his (blind man) life.”   Jesus refused to discuss with the disciples who, what, or how the causes of the man’s blindness. HE stopped their mind mapping on the theoretical and complex issues.
