RAPTURE DREAM [1]

I had a dream in three parts.

 

Part One

I saw K in my dream. I saw her talking and sharing about something. I didn’t remember what she had shared. In my spirit, I was as though aware that she was sharing about her encounters or perhaps some troubling matters, her marriage issues.

 

Interpretation

K was my ex-colleague, and we worked in the same department. In real life, K has had some personal issues before, and her marriage to an unbeliever. K desires that her husband come to know the Lord one day.

 

Part Two

In the dream, I was listening to K share about a dream she had. She said that after she woke up, she was already in Heaven. She said it was so fast, meaning one moment she was still on earth or sleeping, and the next, when she opened her eyes, she saw herself in the heavenly realm. She was so excited as she shared her dream with me, and not at all fearful of it. Then suddenly, I was brought to the attention of a man who was standing next to me, whom I had not seen at first. In the dream, my spirit seemed to tell me he was either a preacher, a pastor, or a significant spiritual person. He suddenly spoke and interrupted K, saying, “This is not what you had interpreted (or as she had perceived). Then I woke up.  

 

Interpretation

In the dream, my spirit reckoned that K interpreted she had passed on and gone to Heaven. But the anonymous man seemed to have perceived her thoughts and interpretations differently. He corrected her by saying that what she had interpreted was not the intended meaning. What the anonymous spiritual man said made me think deeper....

 

Indeed, today K is still living as healthily as before, full of the joy of the Lord, and still an active churchgoer. She has recently become a grandmother.

  

After I woke up, I laid on my bed, trying to unpack the dream. I tried to recall ‘Part One” of the dream. What exactly did K share with me? But I could not remember. 

 

In life, we are just like K. Behind closed doors, we all have our own set of problems and worries that nobody knows.

 

People suffer and are traumatized mentally and emotionally because of illness, relationship problems, hurt, sorrow, pain, and all kinds of suffering. All these will pass away one day when God wipes away all our tears.

Revelation 21:4

And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

 

Then I fell asleep again.

 

Part Three

In this dream, it was like a continuation of Part Two of my dream. In the dream, I saw myself interpret the whole riddle of my dream. The word “TWINKLING OF AN EYE” was muttered out from my mouth. Then I woke up.

 

Interpretation

The word ‘Twinkling’ means a blink. Think about how our eyelids flip up and down. It is so swift. 


Rapture is an event that is so quick and swift, so unexpected. One may not have time to prepare or even bid goodbye to our loved ones and friends. The bible mentions that there is a remnant of people who will live and not die, but will be caught up (snatch away) by God in the twinkling of an eye.

 

In this dream, the Lord let me understand what HE meant by ‘twinkling of an eye’. It means it will be so swift and immediate, within split seconds. It’s as though we close our eyes and, within seconds, we open our eyes and see ourselves in another place.

Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up (snatch away) together with them (the dead spirits belonging to God) in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore, comfort one another with these words.


We do not know when this event will take place but surely it will come as spoken in His Word!
