A MEASURE OF FAITH

 Romans 12:3
God has apportioned to each person a measure of faith.

This verse tells us faith has different levels. 



Two persons are unwell. One person decides to pray persistently and believes that the medication is helpful. She proactively exercises daily to strengthen her health. Another person was discouraged and disappointed with life. She began to react negatively to life and sank into depression. 



Two people have lost their jobs at the same time. One is actively looking for a job and leveling up his skill set. He also prays for new openings and trusts God for the impossible. The other faces a setback and has become discouraged. He is angry with his ex-employer and everyone. He is constantly in despair, frustrated, and living in delusions, as though drowned in a drunken stupor. 



We can understand a person's misfortune and dilemma. We wish they could get back quickly and regain their faith in God. Sometimes, it takes plenty of courage, effort, and determination for a person to get up and be an overcomer. 



Faith is a lesson we learn daily. Each little thing we trust God for, we are collecting 'faith' into a bottle. When problems come for us to exercise faith, the ways, methods, and approaches to face the challenges determine the measure of faith we have in God. In many life problems, faith is the answer to all ills or wells of a matter. 



Think about these Scriptures and what breakthroughs could faith bring about?



Mark 5:34

He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be cured of your disease. 



Luke 18:42

Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight. Your faith has healed you. 



1 Corinthians 15:14

If Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain and your faith also is in vain. 



1 John 5:4 - Faith brings about victory

For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world: your faith. 



Matthew 9:22

But Jesus, turning around and seeing her, said, “Daughter, cheer up! Your faith has made you well.” And the woman was made well from that hour. 




Prayer:

Dear Lord Jesus, we pray for those around us who may be suffering for whatever reason or facing a difficult life situation. We pray that You would give them a measure of faith to trust and hope in You again. Help them to rise and face the fear, discouragement, health problems, and financial issues with a new level of faith and confidence.

WANTON SOUP ENCOUNTER

  This morning, after dropping off my son at his school, I drove to a nearby coffee shop to buy breakfast.   I came to a stall selling wanton noodles. It was still early, and no one was queuing. The stall looked clean and neat. The hot steam rising from the cooking pot made me decide to order a bowl of wanton noodles.    As usual, I ordered dried wanton noodles. While I observed and was fascinated by how fast the cook prepared the noodles, I thought, “How nice it would be if she could give me some soup!”  As I was just casually thinking, suddenly, the Holy Spirit said, “Ask her!” Hence, I followed as instructed and said, “Can you give me some soup?” The cook did not reply, but another elderly assistant said, “Cannot! We don’t give away soup.” I had been rejected flatly.    Immediately, I spoke to God and said, “ See! RAPTURE DREAM [1]

  23 January 2023   I had a dream in three parts.   Part One I saw  K  in my dream. I saw her talking and sharing about something. I didn’t remember what she had shared. In my spirit, I was as though aware that she was sharing about her encounters or perhaps some troubling matters, her marriage issues.   Interpretation K  was my ex-colleague, and we worked in the same department. In real life,  K  has had some personal issues before, and her marriage to an unbeliever. K desires that her husband come to know the Lord one day.   Part Two In the dream, I was listening to  K  share about a dream she had. She said that after she woke up, she was already in Heaven. She said it was so fast, meaning one moment she was still on earth or sleeping, and the next, when she opened her eyes, she saw herself in the heavenly realm.
