YOUR WORKS BE REVEALED

YOUR WORKS BE REVEALED   John 9:1-3 (NKJV) Now as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth. 2 And His disciples asked Him, saying, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” Jesus answered, “ Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him .    Like the disciples, we too surreptitiously wondered if a person’s illness or handicap was the result of his or his ancestors’ sins?   In the above Scriptures, Jesus addresses the disciples’ question by simply saying, “No one sinned. But that God could reveal His works (working, power, glory) in his (blind man) life.”   Jesus refused to discuss with the disciples who, what, or how the causes of the man’s blindness. HE stopped their mind mapping on the theoretical and complex issues. All Jesus wanted to do was to heal the blind man and help him regain his sight.   Indeed, not all sicknesses are the result of one’s sin or of th...
A FLIP FROM BAD TO GOOD   Psalm 139:4 Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O  Lord , you know it altogether.     A few days before the event started, I made a trip to the meeting place to test if the projector and screen were properly fixed and working well.     The moment I stepped into the room, I was astonished and shocked. There was no screen on the wall, and no projector hung on the ceiling.   My mind was swirling, trying to think how I could fix the problem within a short span of time. A couple of ideas to do this or that were spawned quickly, one after another, in my mind. The event would be three days away, but there was no projector. It was disappointing that I didn’t come earlier. I had trusted their agreement to install the equipment.      While they walked away, I didn’t have a chance to ask them why there was no projector or screen. Perhaps they did say something to me, but I was not paying attention. My mind and...

VENGEANCE IS MINE

VENGEANCE IS MINE Yesterday, a friend shared an encouraging testimony.  Over the past few months, she had a hard time living with her sister, who is fussy and easily bothered by the trivial. They each have their own lives to manage, church, work, running errands, doing chores, and personal lives. They hardly get a chance to see each other often. However, each time they met, her sister showed unhappiness. She would bang the chair, making some sounds to indicate that she was in a bad mood. When asked what had happened, she ignored her. My friend quietly prayed to God for her sister.  This continued until one day, both were at home, and again her sister suddenly took a chair and banged it hard in front of her. She was frightened by her action and sudden outburst. She felt a chill run over her and was threatened by her uncouth demeanor. In addition, her eyes displayed strong hostility towards her. She had to quickly retreat to her room to pray as she felt that it was n...

RAPTURE DREAM [1]

23 January 2023   I had a dream in three parts.   Part One I saw  K  in my dream. I saw her talking and sharing about something. I didn’t remember what she had shared. In my spirit, I was as though aware that she was sharing about her encounters or perhaps some troubling matters, her marriage issues.   Interpretation K  was my ex-colleague, and we worked in the same department. In real life,  K  has had some personal issues before, and her marriage to an unbeliever. K desires that her husband come to know the Lord one day.   Part Two In the dream, I was listening to  K  share about a dream she had. She said that after she woke up, she was already in Heaven. She said it was so fast, meaning one moment she was still on earth or sleeping, and the next, when she opened her eyes, she saw herself in the heavenly realm. She was so excited as she shared her dream with me, and not at all fearful of it. Then suddenly, I was brough...

Luke 21:8-12 (NKJV) 8  And He said:  “ Take heed that you not be deceived. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He,’ and, ‘The time has drawn near.’ Therefore do not go after them.   9  But when you hear of   wars and commotions, do not be terrified;  For these things must come to pass first, but the end will not come immediately.” 10  Then He said to them,  “ Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.   11  And there will be great   earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven.   12  But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and   prisons.   You will be brought before kings and rulers   for My name’s sake.     During my fast on 08 August, 2025, the Lord led me to read Luke Chapter 21. GOD PRESERVES

GOD PRESERVES   1 Chronicles 18:6, So the Lord preserved David wherever he went.    1 Chronicles 18:13 And the Lord preserved David wherever he went.     Chronicles 18 https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1%20chron%2018&version=NKJV   Throughout the bible, God’s people had been constantly threatened and under attack by the surrounding countries.   This whole chapter mentioned how King David attacked his enemies, subdued them, and dealt with them accordingly:     1)   Philistine and its city, Gath 2)   Moab – became servants and paid tribute (taxes) 3)   Hadadezer (king of Zobah) as far as  Hamath - took from him 1,000 chariots, 7,000 horsemen, and 20,000 foot soldiers , hamstrung all the chariot horses except 100 horses were untouched. Hamstrung means to do something to prevent easy movement. He confiscated a large amount of loot: gold and bronze, and brought them bac...
